PayRound does not require account creation, login, or any personal information to use. When you create a round, we store the participant names you provide and the payment records.
We automatically collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics, including page views, device type, browser, and approximate location (country level). This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Your recent rounds are saved in your browser's localStorage for convenience. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
Round data (participant names and payments) is used solely to provide the PayRound service — tracking whose turn it is to pay.
Anonymous analytics help us understand how people use PayRound so we can improve the experience. We track things like which features are most used and how people navigate the app.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties. Round data is only accessible through the unique round link, which you control and share.
We use Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics and Google AdSense for advertising. These services may use cookies as described in their own privacy policies.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
PayRound uses localStorage (similar to cookies) to remember your recent rounds and language preference. This data is stored only on your device.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All connections to PayRound are encrypted using HTTPS. Round data is stored in a secure database with restricted access.

Rounds that remain inactive for 1 year are automatically deleted. You can also remove rounds from your local history at any time through the home page.
7. Your Rights
You can delete individual payments within 24 hours of recording them. You can remove rounds from your local history at any time. Since we don't collect personal information or require accounts, there is no personal data to request or delete.
